The Community Services Division consists of special events, facility rentals and usage, park and shelter rentals, Pioneer Village, and various youth, adult and senior enrichment programs. Park, Pioneer Village and Shelter Rental forms may be accessed by scrolling down and downloading an application.
The City of Selma is happy to announce that following the completion of the camera installation at Brentlinger Park, all parks in Selma will have cameras. These cameras are in place to reduce vandalism and graffiti, in turn, to make them safer for the general public.

The Tennis Courts at Brentlinger Park have been recently painted in order to allow for Pickleball to also be played on the courts, in addition to Tennis. for birthday parties, family reunions or other get-togethers are available at Brentlinger, Shafer and Peter Ringo Parks. Rental fees are $35.00 for Selma residents and $65.00 for non-residents. Shelters may be rented for up to one year in advance at the Recreation and Community Services Department.Softball Tournaments
can be held at Shafer Park. Rental and fee information is available by calling the Recreation and Community Services Department. The Skateboard Park
is located at Berry Park, corner of Whitson and Second Street. The Park is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Helmets, knee and elbow pads are required. The park will be closed at times for failure to follow helmet and pads rules, maintenance, graffiti and vandalism. Please take care of our park. The Skate Park does have lights.
Pioneer Village is located at 1880 Art Gonzales Parkway and may be rented for a variety of purposes, including, but not limited to Birthday Parties, Family Reunions, Special Events and a variety of other potential events. The Cities annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween "IT LIVES" Event and Mariachi Festival are just a few of the annual events held at Pioneer Village.
